leaves
yellow leaves
are hitting the air
are hitting the earth
hitting
the dying tired
leaves
do not fall any longer
gently
do not hang in the
wind
their last hope
no
the yellow leaves thrash
their last path
spiteful
as if they wouldn’t accept
the fall
the yellow leaves
the yellow leaves
the yellow leaves
fall hard on my small son’s
arm
he kneels down aching
and cries
because he doesn’t know
yet
where the ache comes
from
the yellow leaves
take in the very last
breath
the breath reeking
of death
that moment their
yellow colour changes
to brown
to stiff brown
the leaves die lighter
before touching the
ground
the leaves die in black-and-
white
during their slow fluttering
fall
they lost dying away the ever
changing colour
but now colour
has no meaning at all

**
yellow power
spring wonder
wandering
through hazy air
wet air
drunken air
spring waking
pushing
breaking its way through
towards the frangrance
of colour
bringing out the soul
the fresh spirit
of life
spring looking into
the petal
spring looking into
the eyes
of a daisy
yellow
to cherish yellow
glittering yellow
springing out of
the flower
and hitting rain
and stopping rain
the yellow colour
halts rain
squashes low clouds
dew clouds hovering over
the earth
the yellow colour
calls out the sun
to dry out
spring and call out
summer
and heat
and fragrance
oh
yellow colour
valiant colour
powerful colour
flower power
is melting in our eyes
come and be our warmth
for all times
